There is a lot of figure out here. I really like the chart, but I can’t seem to figure out how this would be used for regular data with cities or any other names.
The ’ used in the formula my Tableau version plain refuses to recognize. I use “ instead. The — is said to be a “bad character” and I have to backspace 3 times to delete it. I assume that’s a minus symbol.
The “Name = ” stuff is, how I figure it, just the names of the calculations themselves.
It’s a very cool chart for sure. But 95% of these Tableau guides do require the users to have nearly expert knowledge to follow them on their own data.
